About Us

Rexford R. Koch, CPA, is President of Koch & Company. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Miami. Rex is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He and his family have resided in Charlotte County for over 20 years. Rex has enjoyed serving the great variety of individuals and small businesses who enjoy this fine community.

Rex is an active leader and member of numerous organizations throughout Charlotte County over the past 20 years. In recognition for his never ending service to not-for-profit groups, Rex was recognized by the FICPA, when he received the 2004 Public Service Award. Most recently, Rex, who was a graduate of the Leadership Charlotte Class of 1998, was honored by being named as fourth member of “The Leadership Charlotte Hall of Fame.”

Rex has had the pleasure of providing assistance for the start-up of many Nonprofit organizations in Charlotte County, including the Vietnam Wall of Southwest Florida.  Our firm also provides assistance with the updating of records, application for and filing of annual reports for several organizations.  Currently we are working on applying for 501(c)3 status for Marine Corps League Peter Shanks Detachment, Inc.  We also provide assistance in dealing with IRS on behalf of needy veterans. This work is all done on a pro bono basis.

Rex also serves as pro bono Campaign Treasurer for many local and state political campaigns including: Charlotte County Airport Authority, Charlotte County Circuit Judge, Charlotte County Clerk of Courts, Charlotte County Commissioner, Charlotte County Sheriff, Florida State Representative, and Punta Gorda City Council.
